Is signhere really free?
Yes. Signing is completely free and works without an account. It is funded by ads on the landing page and template pages - never on the signing screen itself.
Is the signature legally valid?
signhere creates a simple electronic signature (SES) under the eIDAS regulation. For most everyday documents such as powers of attorney, handover protocols or receipt confirmations that is enough. Documents that legally require written form need a qualified signature (QES).
Does the other person need to install an app?
No. The link opens in the browser - on any phone, tablet or computer.
What happens to my documents?
They are deleted automatically: unsigned documents after 7 days, signed ones after 30 days, documents with an ID copy always after 7 days.
Can I collect several signatures on one document?
Several spots on one document can be signed. Routing a document through multiple signers one after another is on the roadmap.
Can I get a paper document signed?
Yes. Just photograph it with your phone - signhere crops it automatically and turns it into a PDF.
