Get a power of attorney signed

A power of attorney is the classic document that suddenly has to be signed today: someone collects a parcel for you, goes to an office on your behalf or picks up a key. That is exactly when no printer is around. With signhere you upload the PDF, send the link by WhatsApp and the other person signs with a finger on their phone. The finished PDF lands in your inbox automatically, with a certificate page carrying the timestamps. If the counter also wants a copy of an ID, you can request it in the same step: the signer photographs their ID, it is cropped automatically and appended as the last page.

Attach the ID copy in the same flow

Parcel shops, authorities and workshops often only hand something over when an ID copy sits next to the authorisation. Turn on "Request ID copy" when uploading and write down why you need it. The signer photographs the front and back inside the app, sees the cropped result immediately and can add a watermark naming the purpose. That watermark is the standard protection against an ID copy being reused for something else.

What belongs in a power of attorney

The name and address of the person granting it, the name of the person receiving it, a clear description of what it covers, place, date and the signature. The more precisely the purpose is written down, the fewer questions come up at the counter. signhere detects labels such as "Place, Date" and "Signature" automatically and offers them as tappable spots - two taps and the document is done.

Frequently asked questions

Is an electronically signed authorisation enough?

For everyday cases such as a parcel pickup a simple electronic signature is usually accepted. Some authorities still insist on a handwritten signature on paper - ask if you are unsure.

How long is the document stored?

Signed documents are deleted after 30 days. As soon as an ID copy is attached, after 7 days.

Can I protect it with a password?

Yes. Set a password on your status page. The other person only sees the document after entering it - share the password by phone rather than in the same message.
